What Does the Program Offer?
Here’s what you can look forward to as part of the Citylife Business Support Program:
Up to 12 hours of free expert support tailored to meet your business needs, provided by the Business & IP Centre North East Citylife Experts.
Workshops are specifically designed to address current business challenges.
A free events programme focusing on resilience, innovation, the funding landscape, and more.
Whether you’re looking to improve business performance, conduct a thorough audit, grow sales, or develop a powerful strategy, this programme equips you with the tools and expertise you need to succeed.
Who’s Eligible?
To qualify, your business must meet these criteria:
Be a small or medium-sized enterprise located within Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Sunderland, or Northumberland.
Aim to safeguard or create new jobs.
Meet SME eligibility requirements, such as having fewer than 250 employees, an annual turnover of no more than £36m, and a balance sheet total not exceeding £18m.
Who Are the Citylife Experts?
Citylife Experts are seasoned professionals and business support organisations who partner with the Business & IP Centre North East. They’re here to provide you with tailored advice, one-to-one guidance, or even hands-on project support. HiThrive, as one of these Experts, brings deep expertise in areas such as performance improvement, business audits, turnaround strategies, sales growth, and strategic planning.
Not sure what kind of support you need? Don’t worry. You can split your 12 hours between up to two Experts, and the BIPC team will assist you in selecting the right ones to suit your business needs.
How Does It Work?
Getting started is simple. Just visit our Citylife program page to schedule an initial call at your convenience. During that call, your business needs will be assessed, and the right support services will be arranged for you. Once you’ve completed your program, BIPC will provide the funding directly to your business account, enabling you to compensate the Expert for their work.
Need More than 12 Hours?
While the programme funds up to 12 hours of expert support, larger projects can be undertaken. You’ll just need to cover the remaining balance after the funded hours are completed.
